After a successful 12 year career at Amazon, including serving as a Bar Raiser and as a founding member of Prime Video, I continue to do work I love as a strategy consultant. Drawing on deep experience in leadership, data-driven decision making, mentoring and customer focus, I help organisations facing change, complex challenges and new opportunities, particularly those who create positive impact in areas connected to wellbeing, recovery, media and social impact.Alongside my consulting work, I am building a sober coaching practice, supporting people who want to lead an alcohol free life. Drawing on my own life experience, I have a particular interest in supporting high achieving professionals and Muslims navigating the challenges of shame, secrecy, identity and faith. I am passionate about creating a safe space where those affected can explore change with compassion and practical support.Outside my professional work, I volunteer as a business advisor to a recovery charity - Kennedy Street Recovery and also act as a mentor to students at the University of Brighton. Being able to use my experience to help others grow, overcome challenges and realise their potential is a meaningful part of my life and is at the heart of what I do.

As a British-born Pakistani Muslim with 30 years in the corporate world, I know the weight of faith, family and silence because I have lived with it. I can share more when we speak, but for now, please know that I get it. You don't have to explain yourself, or impress me or pretend that everything is fine. These tools may generate insights or inferences based on the information you provide. All AI outputs are reviewed by a human and are never used to make automated decisions about you.
Some AI tools may generate wellbeing related or behavioural insights. These may be treated as special category data and are processed only with your explicit consent. You may request that your data is not processed by AI at any time.
7. Sharing Your Information
I may share your data with:
• Secure digital service providers (email, scheduling, AI tools)
• Professional supervisors (anonymised where possible)
• Authorities if required for safeguarding or legal compliance
All providers are required to keep your data secure.
8. International Transfers

Sober Coaching Terms and Conditions– last updated July 24 2026This Coaching Agreement (the “Agreement”) is entered into ____________________ (the “Effective Date”), by and between Shahina O’Mahoney contactable at [email protected] (the “Coach”) and _________________, with an email address of _______________________________, (the “Client”), collectively “the Parties.”Purpose of the Agreement: The purpose of this Agreement is to develop a coaching relationship between the Parties in order to cultivate the Client’s personal, professional, and/or business goals and create a plan to carry out those goals through stimulating and creative interactions with the ultimate result of maximising the Client’s personal and/or professional potential (“Coaching Services”).Shahina O’Mahoney operates as a sole trader business registered in the United Kingdom. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the Client’s use of the website [www.shahinaomahoney.com] (“Website”) and the services provided by Shahina O’Mahoney. By accessing this Website or engaging the Coach’s services, the Parties agrees to be bound by the following Terms.1. Coaching Goals. The Client wishes to engage the Coach’s services in order to achieve the following goals/to maximize the following area of the Client’s life:

2. Fees and Payment: Sessions and programmes must be booked in advance via email or as otherwise instructed. Fees for services are available on request via email and are payable in full at the time of booking, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Where a client pays for a session or sessions in advance, they must have the coaching session(s) that they have paid for within 6 months of the payment. Failure to do this will result in their fee being forfeited. The Coach reserves the right to change fees at any time; however, changes will not affect bookings already confirmed.
Coaching Fees. In exchange for coaching services, the Client agrees to pay the Coach the following fees and according to the following schedule:

3. Session Frequency and Schedule: Free Discovery Chats and paid for sessions will be agreed over email. This will be confirmed by the coach by email prior to the session. In the unlikely event the coach has a calendar clash at the time of booking, a mutually agreeable time will be arranged, or refund offered as applicable.
Subsequent sessions will be arranged between the Coach and Client. Where possible, electronic invitations including zoom/teams links will be emailed to the Client by the Coach as soon as possible after arranged.
4. Coach-Client Relationship – Duties & Responsibilities. A business and/or life coaching relationship is a partnership between two or more individuals or entities. This relationship is not a legal partnership, instead more like a teacher-student or coach-athlete relationship. Each Party must uphold its obligations for the coaching relationship to be successful.4.1. The Coach agrees to maintain the ethics and standards of behaviour established by the Sober Club Accredited Coaches Code of Ethics and the International Coach Federation (IFC), an internationally recognized standard for coaching.4.2. The Client agrees to communicate honestly, be open to feedback and suggestions, and to fully engage and devote oneself to the coaching process.4.3. The Client acknowledges and agrees that coaching is a comprehensive process that may explore different areas of the Client’s life, including work, finances, health and
relationships, but it is ultimately the Client’s decision how the Client incorporates coaching into each aspect of life.
4.4. The Client is solely responsible for implementing the techniques discovered through coaching.4.5 Although sobriety is not essential to participate in coaching sessions, The Client acknowledges that The Client will not attend coaching sessions under the influence of alcohol or any other substances.5. Confidentiality. This coaching relationship, as well as all information (physical or verbal) that the Client shares with the Coach as part of this relationship, is bound by the principles of confidentiality set forth in the Sober Club and ICF Code of Ethics. The Coach agrees not to disclose any information pertaining to the Client without the Client’s written consent.6. Cancellation Policy
6.1 Cancellations made by the client with at least 48 hours’ notice will be eligible for rescheduling, less any non-refundable transaction charges.
6.2 Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice are non-refundable.
6.3 If the Coach needs to cancel or reschedule a session, the Coach will provide as much notice as possible and offer an alternative date (or a full refund for changes with less than 48 hours notice)
7. Termination of Coaching Mid-Package: In exceptional Client or Coach circumstances, such as illness or unavailability due to bereavement or other commitments, inappropriate behaviour by the Client, or conflict of interest, or other reasons, the Coach can decide to terminate the service to the Client early or refuse or be unable to provide further coaching sessions to the Client. In such a circumstance the Client will be given reasonable notice of termination by the Coach where practicable and will be refunded any advance payments made for coaching sessions not yet provided; proportionate to the package fee. Should the Client need to terminate coaching prior to completion of the package, any refunds will be at the discretion of the coach.8. Eligibility. Services are intended for individuals aged 18 years or older. Services are for clients that are not medically dependent on alcohol. By booking, you confirm that you meet these requirements.9. Termination of Agreement. Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time upon 14 days’ written notice to the other party at the email address provided above. With the exception of clause 7, fees for pre-paid packages will not be refunded.10. Intellectual Property All content on the Website, including text, graphics, logos, and materials provided in connection with coaching, is owned by or licensed to the Coach. Content must not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or otherwise exploited for commercial purposes without the Coach’s prior written consent.11. Website Use The Client agrees not to misuse this Website, including but not limited to attempting to gain unauthorised access, introducing malicious software, or using the Website for unlawful purposes.12. Limited Liability. The Coach makes no guarantees, representations, or warranties of any kind or nature, expressed or implied with respect to the coaching services negotiated, agreed upon and rendered. In no event shall the Coach be liable to the Client for any indirect, consequential, or special damages. Notwithstanding any damages that the Client may incur, the Coach’s entire liability under this Agreement, and the Client’s exclusive remedy, shall be limited to the amount actually paid by the Client to the Coach under this Agreement for all coaching services rendered through and including the termination date. The Client agrees that the Coach is not liable or responsible for any actions or inactions, or for any direct or indirect result of any services provided by the Coach. The Coach does not provide medical advice, and cannot be held responsible for any medical or health issues13. Entire Agreement. This document reflects the entire agreement between the Coach and the Client and reflects a complete understanding of the Parties with respect to the subject matter. This Agreement supersedes all prior written and oral representations. The Agreement may not be amended, altered, or supplemented except in writing signed by both the Coach and the Client.14. Dispute Resolution and Legal Fees. In the event of a dispute arising out of this Agreement that cannot be resolved by mutual agreement, the Parties agree to engage in mediation. If the matter cannot be resolved through mediation, and legal action ensues, the successful party will be entitled to its legal fees, including, but not limited to its legal fees.15. Legal and Binding Agreement. This Agreement is legal and binding between the Parties as stated above. This Agreement may be entered into and is legal and binding both in Europe, the United States and Canada. The Parties each represent that they have the authority to enter into this Agreement.16. Severability. If any provision of this Agreement shall be held to be invalid or unenforceable for any reason, the remaining provisions shall continue to be valid and enforceable. If the Court finds that any provision of this Agreement is invalid or enforceable, but that by limiting such provision it would become valid and enforceable, then such provision shall be deemed to be written, construed, and enforced as so limited.17. Waiver. The failure of either party to enforce any provision of this Agreement shall not be construed as a waiver or limitation of that party’s right to subsequently enforce and compel strict compliance with every provision of this Agreement.18. Applicable Law. This Agreement shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
